 WENATCHEE — The Community Foundation of North Central Washington will distribute more than $72,800 in grants.

The grants are made twice a year. Established in 1986, the Community Foundation manages more than $40 million and has to date awarded more than $12 million in local grants and scholarships.

WENATCHEE — Not all people seen at the DSV Crisis Center were in crisis or had experienced violence.

That’s one of the reasons the center has changed its name to Sage, which stands for safety, advocacy, growth and empowerment.
